- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mix on low speed.
- Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into crust and smooth top.
- Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes until edges set and center slightly jiggly.
- Cool at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Notes
Best served cold. Cheesecake flavor improves after overnight chilling.
