Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt full-fat plain (500g)
  • 3-4 tbsp honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • %Coffee Layer
  • 1 cup strong coffee or espresso cooled (240ml)
  • %Cookie Layer
  • 14-16 Biscoff cookies or ladyfinger biscuits
  • %Topping
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder for dusting

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl For yogurt cream
  • 1 Shallow dish For dipping cookies in coffee
  • 3-4 Small glass cups or mason jars For individual servings
  • 1 Small sieve For dusting cocoa powder
  • 1 Spoon or spatula For layering
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons For portions

Method

  1. %Make the Yogurt Cream
  2. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with honey and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness. The yogurt should be noticeably sweet to balance the coffee bitterness.
  3. %Prepare the Coffee
  4. Brew a strong cup of coffee or espresso and let it cool to room temperature. Pour into a shallow dish wide enough to dip cookies.
  5. %Layer the Tiramisu
  6. Dip each cookie quickly into the coffee for 1-2 seconds per side. Do not soak or they will fall apart.
  7. In a glass dish or individual cups, spread a thin layer of sweetened yogurt on the bottom.
  8. Add a layer of coffee-dipped cookies on top of the yogurt.
  9. Spread another layer of yogurt over the cookies.
  10. Add another layer of coffee-dipped cookies.
  11. Finish with a final thick layer of yogurt on top.
  12. %Dust and Chill
  13. Dust the top generously with cocoa powder through a small sieve. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. Serve cold with a final dusting of cocoa powder.

Notes

TIPS:
• Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture. Low-fat is too thin.
• Quick dip only — 1-2 seconds per side. Soggy cookies ruin the texture.
• Chill at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better for the best tiramisu texture.
• Individual cups or mason jars are perfect for meal prep and presentation.
• Dust cocoa powder right before serving for the freshest look.
STORAGE:
• Refrigerator: up to 3 days covered. Gets better with time.
• Do not freeze — yogurt texture changes when thawed.
VARIATIONS:
• Chocolate: Add 2 tbsp cocoa powder to yogurt. Use chocolate cookies.
• Strawberry: Skip coffee. Dip cookies in strawberry puree. Add fresh berries.
• Biscoff: Use Biscoff cookies + drizzle melted Biscoff spread between layers.
• Banana: Add sliced bananas between layers with caramel drizzle.
• Matcha: Replace coffee with matcha tea for a green tea version.
